Taking inspiration from an old book of Lullabies that I found in a Cecil Sharp House bargain bin one day in Autumn 2018, this is a concept album recorded in the most intimate of settings: in my family's music room in Fife. Settle back, close your eyes and join me as I sit at the piano one day in chilly January 2019, the radiator clicking on and off, the sound of birdsong in the distance. This is an EP for when the nights draw in, the skies turn dark and the fire begins to blaze. Enjoy.
